GOLDEN WASSAIL

This “spirited” take on a classic winter favorite combines fragrant mulling spices and apple cider, with premium Kavana Gold Rum. A fantastic combination that will warm you up for Thanksgiving, and straight through the Holidays

INGREDIENTS (Makes 1)

  • 2 Tbs. mulling spices

  • 4 Cups (32 oz.) Apple Cider

  • ¾ Cup (6 oz.) Kavana Gold Rum

  • 4 Cinnamon Sticks (optional)

Instructions

In a pot or pan of your choosing, heat the apple cider on a low to medium heat and add the mulling spices while stirring.  Add the rum while continuing to stir.  Just a few minutes should be enough to warm up all the ingredients and have a well-mixed batch of wassail.  Ladle out into 4 cups or mugs, and for a little extra spice, float a cinnamon stick in each serving.
