IRON CLAD CONSTITUTION RUM AND SODA

This tall drink of (soda) water is a great way to enjoy Kavana Gold Rum, and as the name suggests, it’s meant for those with a solid constitution.  A tart cocktail that has been popular in Oak-paneled bars, and with the seafaring type for generations.

INGREDIENTS (Makes 1)

• 2 oz. Lemon Juice (One Lemon)
• 1 Lemon Wedge
• 2 Dashes of Orange Bitters
• 6 oz. Kavana Gold Rum
• 3 Large Ice Cubes
• 6 oz. Soda Water

Instructions

Start by adding 3 large ice cubes into a highball glass. Pour in the lemon juice. Add 2 dashes of orange bitters, plus 1 wine glassful (6 oz.) of Kavana Gold Rum (it’s gotta last the entire regatta). Fill up with plain soda water and garnish with the lemon wedge.
