THE SWEET APPARITION

The Sweet Apparition is a beautiful, chilled, Fall-inspired cocktail that features the faint taste of Pear with Kavana Silver rum. This chilly drink will float around your taste buds, and is perfect for all who enjoy the trick as well as the treat!

INGREDIENTS (Makes 1)

• 1 ½ oz. Chilled Kavana Silver Rum

• 1 ½ oz. Pear Syrup – Drained From Can of Pears

• 1 oz. Coconut Milk*

• Dash of Lime Juice

• Pinch of Ground Cardamom To Float

• Pear Slice for Garnish – Fresh or From Can

Instructions

Add chilled rum to a glass of your choosing.  In a separate glass, mix pear juice and coconut milk together, and then combine with rum.  Add a dash of lime juice for a high note, and top it off with a pinch of ground cardamom. TIP: the trick to the spookiness is chilled rum, and room temperature coconut milk.

* The kind of coconut milk used for cooking. We usually find it in a can in the Asian Foods section of our local grocery store. Not the coconut beverage that is a milk replacement, or coconut water.  The coconut milk should also not be super thick (full fat), it should shake more like a liquid when you pick up the can.
